Pushed Too Far is one of the bad endings in School Days and is exclusive to the HQ release. In this ending, Sekai Saionji becomes pregnant by either Makoto Itou or Taisuke Sawanaga and then ends up pushing Kotonoha Katsura into the path of an oncoming train. In the LxH version of the game, 3 very similar but different endings exist; see below.

Sekai and Taisuke have just had sex, with Sekai still maintaining an unenthusiastic attitude. Taisuke then asks what she wants as a Christmas present. She says nothing in particular, prompting Taisuke to ask for Makoto's help later.
Makoto and Kotonoha are having lunch and Makoto is completely tuned out. Kotonoha deduces that it's about Sekai and how depressed she's been lately now that Setsuna Kiyoura's transferred. Kotonoha then gives Makoto a blowjob. As they head back to class, they see Sekai run out of a room, crying, with half her clothes on and semen running down her legs. Makoto asks what's going on and Taisuke explains that it felt too good to pull out, completely oblivious as to what could happen.
That evening, Makoto masturbates to seeing Sekai like that. Taisuke then calls Makoto and talk about their Christmas plans. Taisuke then asks Makoto to come with him and Sekai and then figure out what she wants for Christmas. That Saturday, they meet up at the Sakakino-cho station. Taisuke arrives late and as punishment, is made to pay for lunch. Taisuke goes off with Kotonoha to give Makoto a chance to figure out what Sekai wants. Sekai buys a photo stand because Makoto liked it before he can stop her. Later, Makoto tries to find out what she wants, but she doesn't want anything from the store. Meanwhile, Kotonoha goes shopping while using Taisuke as a mule to carry her baggage.

Makoto embraces Sekai without a thought
They later decide to call it a day and go home when Makoto subtly asks Kotonoha to go away so that he can find out what Sekai wants. Sekai and Makoto take the train and Makoto asks if there's anything she wants. Sekai answers she can't have what she wants. Makoto wonders if it's something expensive but Sekai says it's not something you can put a price on. After some prying, Sekai reveals she wants Makoto. Makoto immediately hugs Sekai and asks her to take him.
Final Episode - Pushed Too Far[]
Sekai is at home humming when her mother, Youko, asks her why she's so happy and correctly guesses that it's because she got a boyfriend. Youko then talks about her younger days, mentioning that when she was Sekai's age, she had long given birth to her. Sekai replies that she grew up too quickly and that she has no intention of bringing her boyfriend home (even though Makoto's already met Youko by this point) when she throws up. Youko asks if she's pregnant and Sekai says that she might be and isn't sure who the father is.
Meanwhile, Makoto's at home and calls Taisuke to tell him he couldn't figure out what Sekai wanted from Jo-Q Hands. They chat for a while and Makoto tries to tell him about what happened, but fails. Makoto fails to sleep and goes to school drowsy. He meets Taisuke and figures out that Sekai hasn't told Taisuke what happened either and both promise to break up with their respective significant others at lunchtime. Makoto is having lunch with Kotonoha when she asks if he wants to start having lunch in her classroom since it's getting cold and she wants everyone to know that he's her boyfriend. Makoto refuses to do so, and Kotonoha leaves, and Makoto fails to break up with her. He meets Sekai, seeing that she has also failed to break up with Taisuke. During class, they promise to break up with their respective partners after school. Sekai and Taisuke remain in class to talk and Makoto leaves to find Kotonoha. When they meet, Kotonoha apologizes for wanting to show him off. Makoto then asks to break up with her. Kotonoha doesn't understand and even promises to change everything about herself that Makoto doesn't like. Makoto explains it's not that he has come to hate her but that he's been in love with another girl and now he knows that she loves him too. Kotonoha asks who it is and Makoto reveals that it's Sekai. Kotonoha pleads some more to not break up, but Makoto leaves.
That evening, Taisuke calls Makoto in "tears", saying that he's been dumped and there's someone else Sekai likes. Taisuke asks Makoto who it is, and Makoto answers that it's him. After a pause, Taisuke says that if they were friends, Makoto would never do something like that and hangs up. Sekai comes to Makoto's home to tell him that she's broken up with Taisuke. They then go out walking and officially declare each other as boyfriend and girlfriend before Sekai throws up. She then reveals she's pregnant from all the practice they did before the school festival.

Sekai moments before collapsing
At school the next day, Kotonoha asks to meet with Sekai alone. She asks Sekai to stop trying to seduce Makoto and begs her to give him back to her. Sekai then suddenly collapses and is taken to the infirmary and later, the hospital. Kotonoha is with her at her home when Makoto comes and Sekai's resting. Kotonoha says that they're disturbing her rest and asks for them to leave together. They later talk and Kotonoha suggests that Sekai get an abortion. Makoto says it would be tough raising a child at their age, but that Sekai's mother is supportive. Kotonoha then reveals that according to the obstetrician, Sekai's been pregnant for less than two months, meaning that it's likely Taisuke's baby. Makoto says the baby still could be his and says she's wrong. Sekai and her mother talk and Youko says that she'll support her daughter all the way.

Sekai's Yandere mode after Makoto breaks up with her
At lunch the next day, Makoto tries to ask Sekai about the baby's father but hesitates. At Gakuenmae, he runs into Kotonoha, who finally decides to give up on him and support him and Sekai. Makoto then decides that he loves Kotonoha and that while he doesn't hate Sekai, he can't bear the burden of another man's baby. That evening, Sekai calls and asks him to go see her obstetrician with her. Makoto replies that he can't go because he's not the father and breaks up with her. Sekai becomes convinced that Kotonoha fed Makoto some story and hangs up. She's then seen going into Yandere mode.
Ending[]
The next day, Sekai is seen outside Kotonoha's house, presumably stalking her.
At the train station, Makoto and Kotonoha meet and he tells her about what happened the night before. He also informs her that Sekai blames her for what happened and he apologizes in advance if she says anything to her. Kotonoha replies it was she who betrayed Sekai's secret, but Makoto says it would've come out sooner or later and that she's done nothing wrong. He then reaffirms that she's the one he loves and the only one he's paying attention to. Meanwhile, Sekai's seen slowly approaching the couple step by step. Kotonoha says that she's going to apologize to Sekai as much as she can because she's the dear friend who brought them together. Then, as the train is arriving, Makoto tells Kotonoha to stay back, only for Sekai to push her into the train's path. Makoto looks at Sekai, who, with a deranged expression, says "Goodbye". Makoto then tries to pull Kotonoha back, but he's too late and the train hits her. Sekai, laughing maniacally, rants that it's all Kotonoha's fault and Makoto is left holding Kotonoha's severed arm, screaming her name.
LxH Variations[]
Innocent Evening Sun[]
While similar to the ending above, this ending comes before the point where Pushed Too Far occurs. Also, apart from Sekai pushing Kotonoha onto the train tracks, the circumstances are different - the events happen earlier because the characters are wearing their school uniforms without coats. Sekai also hasn't spent much time in Yandere mode as she isn't shown manically crazed (though is obviously in a cold state of murderous insanity) and doesn't push with as much force as the other ending (Kotonoha only falls halfway over the edge instead of being sent flying over the tracks). Makoto is also further away from Kotonoha and is able to see Sekai pushing her far sooner, reacting to it much faster.
Makoto and Kotonoha are waiting for the train to come when Makoto gets a text from Sekai. This serves as a distraction as Sekai comes up and pushes Kotonoha onto the tracks. Shocked, Makoto rushes in, shoving a stunned Sekai over as well and grabs Kotonoha as they all fall over onto the ledge, with Sekai's phone dropping further onto the tracks. Makoto holds onto Kotonoha around her waist and tries to pull her back up while the mentally-compromised Sekai numbly reaches for her phone in spite of the oncoming danger. The train, however, comes in before anything can be done and Sekai and Kotonoha are both hit and killed, with Makoto thrown back and left looking horrified.
Twisted Hair[]
Slightly different from the ending above. While being pulled by Makoto, Kotonoha regains consciousness and grabs Sekai by her hair, looking as though she intends to pull her up at first glance. But, right as Makoto pulls, Kotonoha instead uses Sekai as leverage to push herself and Makoto back up to safety (though whether this is intentional as payback towards Sekai or accidental due to blindly reaching for a handgrip is unknown), shoving Sekai fully onto the tracks. The train comes as Sekai looks at it in shock right before it connects, killing her.
Lamplight[]
Makoto and Sekai meet at the train station and chat for a while when Kotonoha comes. Kotonoha wants to talk to Sekai and Makoto leaves them alone. Kotonoha becomes more and more aggressive with Sekai, and Makoto, when he turns around, finds Sekai has been accidentally pushed onto the tracks by Kotonoha in her blind rage. Makoto runs over and helps her get up but, as Sekai tries to help Makoto up, he is hit by the oncoming train, leaving Sekai's shocked face shown fully in the frame.
Route Notes[]
- Technically, this ending should only be accessible through First Experience, but due to a bug on Conflicting Desires, there's a 2nd route (albeit a route that's faulty) available. See this.
Trivia[]
- From the pilot film, it seems that 0verflow wanted to include this Ending in the original version, but it was scrapped in the final release.
- The LED information display in the Menu picture displays the following text: "湾岸新線原増駅構内で起きた人身事故の影響により、ただ今運転を見合わせております。お急ぎのところ、ご迷惑をおかけしております", which roughly translates to "Due to an accident occurred in Haramasu Station on Wangan-shin Line, we are currently suspending operation. We apologize for the inconvenience."
