Natsuhi Ebata (江幡 夏日 Ebata Natsuhi) is a sub-heroine of Summer Radish Vacation 2 and a minor character in Shiny Days.
History[]

Natsuhi was once an aspiring child actress and a normal schoolgirl who loved playing basketball. However, her mother was repeatedly deceived and, before long, fell into massive debt. She was taken from her mother and would have been sold as a sex slave had Shun Hazama not rescued her. During that time, Natsuhi always carried a box cutter to defend herself, which she used to stab a man that attempted to sell her (revealed later to be Shun's father, Tomaru Sawagoe). As she spent time with Shun, Natsuhi started to be cheerful once more and had a romantic relationship with him.
Eventually, Natsuhi became pregnant and had a baby girl. As she was underage and couldn't raise the child by herself, she decided to leave the child at the Haramihama Shrine. Its priest, Hayato Ashikaga, later adopted the child, naming her Inori.
Personality[]
Natsuhi is generally kind and caring, although a bit forceful in trying to retrieve Inori, albeit because the latter needed medical attention.

In Summer Radish, Natsuhi is a short girl with short brown hair and a pair of hair strands pointing up. She wears a blue hoodie with her initials and khaki shorts, as well as a pair of orange sneakers. Her most prominent feature is her bright red eyes.
In Shiny Days, Natsuhi has a fully developed motherly figure and is rather curvy in appearance. She now wears her hair long and in twin braids and wears a pink long apron dress. Her hair still has a pair of hair strands pointing upward.

In Setsuna's route, Natsuhi visits Radish alongside her friend, Ms. Kitsuregawa, who comes to complain about the cancellation of the day's Champagne Party, previously hosted by Shun the day before. She tries to calm the fiery hostess down but is stopped and dragged out of the shop by her after the waitresses confirm the cancellation.
In Inori's route, Natsuhi has a more prominent role as the major "antagonist". She spends most of her time preparing for the festival. Otome Katou also mentions to Setsuna Kiyoura that Natsuhi is engaged to Hayato Ashikaga and that they've already had a child between them.
Etymology[]
- Her given name, Natsuhi, (夏日) means "summer day", which could reference the game in which she first appears.
- Her surname, Ebata, (江幡) consists of "large river" (江) and "flag" (幡).

- Natsuhi is the only character to be voiced by the same seiyuu as Summer Radish Vacation.
- Her seiyuu, Maki Kobayashi, also voiced Ai Yamagata of the Days games.
- She is a parody of "Nevada-tan", a girl given the nickname based on her wearing a blue "Nevada" t-shirt in a 2004 murder. This girl's name was 辻菜摘 (Natsumi Tsuji) as accidentally revealed by Fuji Television who displayed some of her drawings. She was jailed until 2013 when she was released at 20 years old.
- Because of her being Inori's birthmother, there has been a misconception that Natsuhi is Nadeshiko Katou's sister. However, Otome mentions that Inori's (adoptive) mother is dead.
